Loonie Stampers Challenge - Stitch n' Bitch!

Haha... I love that saying. I wish there was one for scrapping!

Welcome back to the Loonie posts, my choice today and I picked sewing / stitching. I pretty much sew on everything so I though I would show something different. I am branching out to sew some little projects so I made my hubby this little protection cover for his kindle!

He likes it, it is very manly...

Hope on over to the ladies now to see what they stitched together...

Today I am...

Dying ribbon and having so much fun!

Abby is taking a quick nap so I got right to it! Yesterday I dyed three little pieces of seam binding and I loved it. I used a tutorial from Ashley Newell and even though I used the seam binding it worked perfectly.

I did little pink and red pieces...
Photobucket

So I called in my Regs for all her mists (I promised to do doubles for her) and today I did Pink, Red, White (kinda), Yellow, Green, Blue, Turquoise and Choco Brown!

These are drying now and I will have a follow up post with them finished and a few tips I learned along the way. ;)

Little Red Wagon - Christmas Favors or Placecards!

Rosanne (who can through a fabulous party) has asked that we show our besttable favor or place cards... hmmm. lol Well I made these for my little red wagon ladies cause I love'em.

I made these for some special little red wagon ladies... I thought it only fitting!
I have been working on these tags for weeks, cause there was so many steps. I stole a few minutes each day and added to them.

1. Ink tags.
2. Stamp tags with background stamp.
3. Cricut cut snowflakes and adhere to tag.
4. Cut trim and adhere to tag just overlapping the snowflake.
5. Adhere Making Memories chipboard piece.
6. Cricut cut reindeers.
7. Add red bling to reindeer's nose.
8. Add liquid pearls to reindeer's chest.
9. Adhere reindeer to tag with foam adhesive.
10. Add stickles to snowlake tips.
11. String the silver bells onto twine.
12. Cut ribbon and feed through tag hole.
13. Tie twine around ribbon.
14. Pin to bag with mini clothespin.
15. Fill bag with delish treats.

phew...

My Scrap Room...

Here are some pics of my scraproom and some of my favorite storage solutions...

This is my ribbon storage... I am quickly out growing it! :) I love ribbon! Under this is my computer and printers but they are ugly... lol!
Photobucket

This is my Cricut and Slice area. My copic, pencil and sewing supplies are on the shelves above.
Photobucket

This is my large selection of embellishments, paints, stickles, mists on top and on the counter is my Hello Kitty Janome, neutral cardstock storage and some drawers with my pins, i-top accessories, embroidery thread, etc.
Photobucket

Close ups...
Photobucket
Photobucket

Then next to those is my flower and bling storage.
Photobucket

I use this to store my copic paper, chart, stamped images from swaps and my teaching stuff.
Photobucket

This is my magazine storage...
Photobucket

And this is my button storage (left) and some old embellishments (right) that I cannot part with.
Photobucket

Under those is some bins for dies, embossing folders, misc stamps and cuttlebug mats.
Photobucket

Then there is my stamp storage, love this method. When I am working on Christmas cards it is easy to pull all the Christmas sets and bring them to my desk. That is also my fabric mat and ruler hanging on the wall. That big black thing is a speaker my husband mounted to my shelf and thought I wouldn't notice.
Photobucket

Now there is a lot of storage under my counters at the back like fabric, alpha letters, etc but it is not to my liking yet so can't show that. However also under there is my paper storage.

I have 2 of these cropper hopper paper carts... I highly recommend! I sort by manufacturer because I need to know who made things on a project.
Photobucket

This is my small paper pad storage... I use the larger envelopes, seal them and the cut open the long side. It keeps the pad nicely and any little pieces after I cut!
Photobucket

In process is my nestabilities storage, I had them in cd cases with magnets but I moved them to rings and they are going on a cork board, that my hubby has not hung yet! :)
Photobucket

Now my desk is my favorite! It is held up by four of these cubes on each side which hold on the important stuff... adhesive, stamp blocks, tools, felt, twine, glitter, ink, punches, rubons, small alpha letters, chipboard.
Photobucket

On top is my clip it up! LOVE! A bin for scraps and my utencil storage!
Photobucket
Photobucket

A lot of the time I have my laptop there as well cause I have folders with all my supplies on it, slice images, cricut images, stamp set images... it makes it easier to find what I am looking for.

I am currently sewing a little shade for the window and I have purchased a chandelier but that was just before the baby came so I haven't got that up yet!

I also have endless TV, Movies and music... oh and a never ending chocolate and candy supply. I love it!

Two Scrapbook Friends Dec Reveal - Fancy Pants!

I received the Fancy Pants Traditions line for DT this month. I love papers with an image on them but I also find them so hard to work with so I really struggled with these are there was 3 sheets of those in the kit!

I needed to find a way to keep the balance of the printed image on the 12 x 12 and the pictures and here is what I can up with!

Hope you like!
