Ok, for those of you that read my post yesterday... funny story. I actually went into labour at 8pm on wed night. We went to the hospital at around 4:00 am and spend about 2 hours in triage in the maternity ward and then they moved me to my room at around 6:00 am. I had the most amazing nurses, I was able to get in the bath with the jets for a bit too so that was kewl. Once i was out though at around 7 am it started to get really tough but she was born at 8:10 October 14, 2010. My parents 53rd wedding anniversary!
It went amazingly well. As soon as I delivered her they asked if I wanted her right away and I said of course. So they put her on my chest and she slapped me right in the mouth with her mucus cover hand! AWESOME!
So we welcome Abigail Barbara Christina Woodland
8:10 am, Oct 14th, 2010
7 lbs 8 ozs
21 3/4" long
Then at about 2pm they said everything was good and we went home with our new baby!
And introduced her to Jackson, her big brother!How handsome is he?
Get ready for lots more girly layouts people!
Oh and kudos to Regan who guessed her name on Canada Day but I lied and told her it wasnt!
