Ten Years ago... I was a DINK... dual income no kids saucy lazy punk! I kid you not! I was 22... working and parta-ing!! What a loser! lol

5 Things on today's to do list... Groceries, Cleaning, Bike Ride, Stamping and Maybe a Bath... if I am lucky!!

Snacks I enjoy... What snacks don't I enjoy... favorite right now is BBQ Lays! Now you want them right too huh!

Things I would do if I were a millionare... I would be on a plane to my parents so fast my head would spin! We have a 3 year old and live 2300 kilometers from his grandparents, it kills me everyday!

Places I have lived... Cape Breton, Nove Scotia and Waterloo, Ontario! Woah so exciting right!

Loonie Stampers Challenge # 1!

So my girl Char... thought it would be fun to do a blog challenge with us Canadian girls and our favorite stamps... Papertreyink.

Soooo....every 2 weeks one of us will pick a stamp set and colors that we must use and then post the results. It will be fun to see how different everyones cards can be using the same ingredients. Here is my submission for Kristina's Color Inspiration 13 , totally out of the box for me... actually I can't even see the box anymore! Wow I just realized I have used 4 different stamp sets on this, don't know if you can tell but the last panel is river rock cardstock with polka dots embossed abd regal rose ink over it!

Well obviously my colors are based on the color challenge by Kristina over at kwernerdesign, but I also love the simplicity of Ikea. Even when they mix patterns and colors it is in an effortless simple way! Also, I seen a graghic in a magazine a few days ago and it stuck with me... I loved it!

This is my kewl kat son, we made a card for Nanny for her b-day. Jackson picked the card stock and ribbon and he even punched the flowers and butterflies himself! He picked the dew drops and he even stamped the sentiment after I inked it. You can tell but he drew little lines from the butterflies and together we wrote nanny at the bottom. He insisted on the pink polka ribbon... I LOVE him!
