Well I hate Halloween on crafts, I just really suck at doing it!

I don't know if it is the colors or what but I do struggle!  lol

Crazy Card Party - Ombre!

Forgot to post my card last week... it was a rough week for me. 

I lost a really close friend on Tuesday and during the funeral met up with some people I hadn't seen in a really long time. It was a roller coaster of emotions!

I thought a thank you card was fitting since I am so very thankful everything and everyone in my life.

FCCB Guest Designer!

For my final guest DT post for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog I made some monsters on a stick for the kids to use as puppets! They are from the Bump in the Night cartridge!

They have had so much fun playing with them, Abby even brought hers to the grocery store!

Use It Up!

I am on a mission... well maybe two missions!

1. Get crafting again, like every day, the way I used to before I had 2 kids!

2. Use all my older stuff in my craft room!

So I have been pumping out the card using all those things I bought that were so adorable I just couldn't possibly use them...  doh!

Here is a little set of cards that were super quick to whip together!

Cardstock, sentiment stamp and some felt stickers... done!

FCCB Challenge# 231 - Happy Birthday (Make a Birthday Card)

I am a guest designer for October at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog thanks to my very creative friend Avril at Totally Scrap Addicted!

This week on Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog the challenge is BIRTHDAY!

Make a birthday card!

I have to say I love my birthday but coincidentally my daughters 4th birthday is Oct 14th and I used my Once Upon a Princess cartridge to make her birthday card this year... actually I use this cartridge every year for her birthday! lol

Her birthday card for this year... she is going to love it!

So simple to make, I just cut all the pieces (5") glued it all together, 

covered it with spray adhesive and glitter.

I let it dry, shook off the extra glitter, mounted to card with foam dots.

Finished it off with a sentiment on a banner and a paper flower,

Here is a close up the glitter detail!

Last year I used this cartridge to play kiss the frog at our princess party!

The kids loved it so much even the boys got in on the action!
