Loonie Stampers Challenge # 1!

So my girl Char... thought it would be fun to do a blog challenge with us Canadian girls and our favorite stamps... Papertreyink.

Soooo....every 2 weeks one of us will pick a stamp set and colors that we must use and then post the results. It will be fun to see how different everyones cards can be using the same ingredients. We would love it if you would play along. If you do be sure to post a link in the comments section so we can check it out.

For this weeks challenge Charlene chose the Papertrey set Piece of Cake as well as the colors Berry Sorbet, Aqua Mist and Choc Chip. Any of the stamps from the set can be used.

Check out my card... I did a double stamp technique!

Now check out theirs...

Soooooo cute!!! Thanks for playing Twin. I KNOW that you did your post way before me but holy...it's like we copied and pasted each other....we are freaky twins. The ribbon IS cute! Are you keeping a secret from us? Give it up!

Great card! I love the cake set. It's too bad I don't own many Papertrey sets. I just have too many Stampin' Up! sets I don't use often enough. It sounds like a lot of fun!

And I played along...here's mine:

I went minimalist and tried to make it manly. Ironically, today is my dad's b-day and I needed to make him a card!
