Little Red Wagon - Sympathy!

Regs picked sympathy this week and I find those super hard and only make them if I absolutely have to... kwim! So I made a card as close as I could get... hope it is ok!

Little Red Wagon - Ruffles!

Yay, it is Little Red Wagon Day! Avril challenges us to use ruffles on our projects and you know how partial I am to RUFFLES!

Also, did you know how easy it is to pull the fabric off the stiff sticky backing and make it all loosey goosey, well let me tell you... it is super easy!

Scrapfest - Woo hoo!

Scrapfest was so much fun this year! A busy day on friday checking out all the booths, products, running into and catching up with online and scrappy friends! So much fun to see everyone in person! Did a small amount of shopping but I am very proud of myself, I did forget to pick up one of those new trimmers, darn!

Was kewl to see Canadian Scrapbooker there with copies of their most recent mag, with 3 of my layouts in it!

Oh and look who I ran into (also known as stalked... lol) Kimber McGray! She was hanging out at the Scrapbook and Cards Today booth (another awesome mag). That was fun and she is so nice! Her is her blog... blog, whirlwind!

On Saturday Regs and I did almost 400 make n takes at the Two Scrapbook Friends booth, which I might add was one rockin booth! Talk about line ups for hours!

Can't wait for next year!

Two Scrapbook Friends - Card Challenge!

Hello All... I am hosting the Card Challenge this week over at Two Scrapbook Friends Forum and I am asking everyone to use some trim... you know that beautiful trim you bought and are hoarding. Cut a little snippit, right now... go!

Here is my card using my most recent trim purchase! Delish!

Carolyn is having us dry emboss some paper this week! LOVE IT!

This is my new PTI embossing plate... jury is still out. I need to use it a few more times.

So I am drawing out my new scraproom for my hubby to build and of course thinking about decoration and colors... then it came to me... I needed some inspiration hanging from the ceiling!

Forgive my pictures but this is how I made my chandeliers...

I cut out four six inch chandeliers


Scored them all them directly down the center


And folded them into 90 degree angles


Then I glued two quarters together (twice) to make two halves


Then I glued the two halves together... easy peasy lemon squeezie!


Then I hung it....


Then I thought it looked lonely...

Two Scrapbook Friend's DT Reveal for April!

Posting 2 days in a row, I know right!

Well not sure if I mentioned it on here or not but I am 3 months pregnant and the fog of tiredness and morning (actually all day) sickness is starting to lift and it feels so good! During this phase I have still been purchasing scrappy supplies but not playing as much, I have a lot of craftin to do!

I played with the most amazing line by My Mind's Eye called Quite Contrary and I loved it! I almost used every bit of it, it is such fun line!

Anywhoodles, here are my layouts for this month and now off to pick up my kit for next month! YAY!

For this layout I just free hand the clouds and cut them out!

This is a funny pic, I just had to scrap it!

I stiched with Bazzill embroidery floss on this layout but can't wait for my new Janome Mini!

This one is prob my fav, thanks to Regs for the adorable little wooden apple button that I have been hoarding for a while!
