Just sharing my rest of my DT projects for the Month of October!

I had a lot of fun with this layout!  My new stencil, my new SC mistable feathers, my new purple mist!

I had so much fun playing with this Webseter's Pages Halloween Line!

The Scrapping Bug - BOO!

So I got to play around with the Websters Halloween Line - Once Upon a Halloween!  Very fun!  I used it for a b-day layout, some fall fun and of course Halloween pics!

I really loved this little pack of journalling and calendar cards!

I also used my little Memory Box die and made a gift bag for this layout!

For this layout I cut a bunch of 1/2 inch x 3 inch strips and made chevron paper.  I seen this as a tile pattern in my new house and home magazine!  I thought what the heck.

Also, on this one is some studio calico ctars I colored with copics, lots of mist and a moon I made with 2 circle punches! lol  Oh and my new Hero Arts / Syudio Calico Stamps... YES!

Technique Tuesday - The Scrapping Bug Forum!

Over on the forum it is Technique Tuesday, the day where we share a little technique that we have either created and or found online somewhere!

Today I am sharing one I created...

I had this American Crafts Amy Tangerine paper home that while I love this Sketchbook line, I wasn't loving this particular sheet.

So I decided to make it work for me!  :)

I broke out a bunch of mists and just started splattering them on.

A few things I will tell you...

1. Protect your work space... I was cleaning for 20 minutes after this project!

2. Let each color dry.  While all the colors look great together, if you actually mix them... they look gross.

3. When You think you have enough, add more!  :)

Then I just cut it up, matched it to some cardstock and ribbon...

 and made a few cards to have on hand!

Easy Peasy!  :)

The Scrapping Bug DT Reveal!

Here is my double layout that I created with over 30 pictures of Jack's b-day party last year.

 I used... Mr Heuy Mist in White, Studio Calico Wood Veneers (Cameras and People) Basically Bare Arrows, Canvas Corp Paper, AC Thickers, AC Amy Tangerine Sketchbook Line, AC Die Cut Layered Stickers. The frame I fussy cut out so I could use both sides of the paper. Check out the blog for details on that!

I also used that cool chevron tutorial that Sharon linked up on the Bug Forum! Brilliant and thanks for that Sharon!

  

I will be back tomorrow with another layout! I just couldn't stop myself with these papers!

I wanted to start today's reveal with a single page layout.  I am playing with AC's Sketchbook line by Amy Tan.

I felt this paper can really handle a little of a lot of black!  :)

What do you think of those retro sequins... lol!

TSB 1 Hr Crop!

Helen hosted another 1 hr crop over at the Bug forum on Saturday night and it was just as fun as the first!

There was a sketch provided and off we went... here is my layout.

I used a MME 6x6 pad, some stampin up brads and page clip, sprinklers and mr heuy mists, thickers
a maya roads mini ticket, a studio calico wood veneer camera, a metal star from goodness knows where and my handy dandy sewing machine!

TSB Online Crop!

Tonight I am taking my hubby out for dinner... today is 20 years since our first date!  :)

Here is my second challenge for the Bug Online Crop... use a card of some sort on your layout... in honor of the dreaded REPORT CARD!

Summer time reminds me of the Great outdoors so I wanted everyone to great a layout with tree or flowers or bugs... whatever!
