Crazy Card Party - Sewing!

Time for a Crazy Card Party! Been a rough few weeks for me but glad it is spring time!

I sew a lot in my paper crafts... probably use my sewing more for paper crafts than fabric! 

Oh well!  :)

Here is a layout I did of a friend bridal tea party I held at my home. I sewed a lot on it but in white so it is hard to phtoograph!

Cropfest Layouts!

Had an amazing time with some great ladies this weekend at Scrapfest!

I got a alot done... 8 single layouts and 2 double layouts! so great ready for some layouts over the next 2 weeks!  :)

Regs gave us a color combo... yay!  Chocolate, Olive, Rust and Kraft... hellur man card!  :)

I made this card which seems sweet and sincere however the inside says "old, but amazing"!

What? I know right?  I was at a crop a few weeks ago and did this double and 4 or 5 singles!  It was a productive day with some great ladies!

A little mist, wooden letters, twine... my covetted tim holtz rosette die and these Ali Edwards stamps I borrowed from Regs.  I have to get these.

Washi Tape!

My friend Patricia, so sweet, so talented and loves PTI like me... that is how we met!

We did a banner swap together recently and she gave me a roll of the most beautiful washi tape I have ever seen!  And it went perfect with these little crocheted flower I had from forever ago!

It inspired me so I whipped up a card with a little Technique Tuesday Ali Edwards set I picked up!

Love it!

Loonie Stampers Challenge #140!

Haha my turn and i am makign everyone use pattern paper as their card base... your scared right?

Here is my card with a base of Girls Paperie... Love them! Papertrey Ink twine, buttons and tag die. A Maya Roads pin and my own dyed ribbon! Oh and the sentiment is Ali Edwards by TT!

Friendzy Friday - Butterfly Frame!

So I have loved these since the first time I seen this one many years ago.

So once I seen Av's frame last DT reveal I said I can do one in a smaller size for my crafty space!

You don't need a lot of supplies! I used my butterfly punch but the heart punch would be supah cute too!


I then popped a 5x7 peice of white cardstock into the frame and traced around the edge.
I then made a mess making a grid to fit the butterflies into the frame. Chalk that up to baby brain!
Once I found the right spacing... I poked holes so I could locate the grid pattern from the other side and still hide it!


Then I glued all the buttler flies over the hole pokes and stamped a sentiment!


Easy peasy!
So fun and now it is on the shelf in my room!

Loonie Stampers Challenge #119!

My challenge ladies and I went way out there! Clearly being home with Abby has me thinking too much! I am making everyone put a pocket of some sort on their card... I smell me some cheatahs! lol

With being home with a 4 week old... I am doing a lot of one handed activities! One handed cooking, one handed tidying, a lot of one handed eating and some one handed web serving on my puter. checking out all the blogs I never had time to before! Tough to do one handed typing so don't expect a lot of comments, tee hee!

I was recently super inspired by Sarah Martina's card in this post! It's the card with the pocket! lol

I had just received my new hand dyed ribbon from etsy so I thought I would give her style a whirl. So I can't so it and just lifted her amazing card!

So Regan picked 3's and I was feeling a bit cheeky so here is my card! :)

I used a few things from my wagon this week... old Stampin Up cardstock, that felt snowflake is from Avon and the blue trim is from like 1972... lol!
