I'm having light problems too, so don't take advice from me on that!!! But one thing I do know is that this card is stinkin' cute.

I made mine from all old box....I cut off the top completely and cut a frame out of the front...leaving a 2" border on the sides and bottom ( just to help to keep some of the light in and to hold the background from popping out.) Then I used poster board (white from the dollar store) and cut a piece that was big enough to start at the back and line the bottom....it should come right to the front of the box but make sure it doesn't fold or crease where the back of the box meets the bottom. You want it to stay soft and curved like a photographers backdrop.... (hope this makes sense...) Then I put my old artograph lightbox on top (bought this at Michaels a million years ago) but you could just use bright lights...clamp style would work and take your photo with the flash off... then when you edit your photo click adjust brightness & contrast (exposure auto fix) and it will brighten the photo evenly without adding glare marks to your card. When I made the box, I did a search from homemade lightbox and used ideas from several different sites.....
