Use It on your 2S4Y!

Feels so good to be back from vacation and craftin it up!

Made this for a friend "Amy" she rocks and it is using 2 Sketches 4 You, sketch # 33 and the current Use It Challenge # 23... older paper (first time I cut into this gorge paper I am hoarding), Older stamp (have never used this stamp from my Ali E set), Something non scrappy (hmmm hope crochet trim fits), eyelets (not easy but done)!

Well this kinda came together pretty quickly, definitely getting better at combining the challenges... which is awesome cause there are just so many awesome ones out there!

Use It # 18!

My girl Ann (Super talented) was the challenge provider this week at Use It! She didn't disappoint and gave us some super fun items...

1. Add texture... love and used my cuttlebug for this!

2. Use at least 2 punches... easy peasy lemon squeasy, used my circles and a new EK Success leafy punch!

3. Use you favorite Paper mfg... holy tough batman, I have so many favorites... it was tough to choose! A new fav in the mix in my craft room is Jillibean! Gorgeous!

4. Throw some pearls in the mix! This made me happy since I have tons that I keep forgetting about! :)

Anywhoodles... the card! lol

Piling on the Challenges!

So I combined a few challenges that I thought went together nicely for this weeks Pile It On!

I love doing this cause it helps me to make something I would never normally come up with!

Not to mention... I use lots of stuff!

Pile It On # 4 - Buttons, 4 or more!

Stuff... Cardstock - Papertrey Ink, Pattern Paper - Lemonade Basic Grey, Button, Stamps & Ink - Papertrey Ink, Thickers - American Crafts, Cherry Die - QuicKutz!

USE It #16!

Yay time for one of my favorite challenges! USE IT!

This week the challenge is as follows...

1. Use something inspired by nature. (flowers, trees, animals, etc.)

I just had to break out my re-use die set by QuicKuts! This is a fantastic set!

2. Use polka dots.

Most of my cards have polka dots some where on them so this was easy!

3. Use your favorite embellishment.

I could limit my self to just one either so I went with... ribbon, jute twine

and my new wooden buttons!

4. Mail your creation to someone special.You'll make their day!

(Remember, you may need to add extra postage)

This is the toughest one for me... as my good friend Jewels once said I am a card maker not a giver!

I will mail this however!

Use It #15!

Well the Use It challenge just happens to be brought to us by another local friend!

Yeah but she didn't take it easy on us...

1. Use patterned paper scraps you've had for more than 1 year! Yikes this was hard... the only paper I had that was a year old was Chatterbox... LOVE!

2. Use chipboard - I used one of my new mini Maya Road Chipboard flourishes.

3. Use paint - I painted a line under my sentiment.

4. Use a rub-on - My sentiment is an American Craft's rub on.

5. Use foam dots - This is pretty much a given for me... love me some foam dots!

Plus she picked the cutest requirements...

1. Use Pink (something I do not do often enough)

2. Use scallops (definitely one of my favs)

3. Use a tag (love my bitty tag dies with my pti mixed messages)

4. Enjoy the creative process as much as the finished card (check, except trying to get the ribbon folded and stuck dow, that sucked)

Use It got a face lift but kept the wicked challenges! This site is awesome cause the players pic the challenges! Perfect place to use up your enormous amount of scrapbooking supplies!

I made the dress by die cutting the dress out of QuicKutz Chipboard and added glitter & bling to the sticky side. Fun... I just love being covered in glitter! :)

This is a weird little shot so you can see the tool I used! The paper crimper only I crimped one way then crimped the other to soften it! Check the site out and make a card! :)

Is brought to you by my very own BFF Regs ! And she brought a tough challenge!

1. Go out of your comfort zone... so comfort for me is the less colors the better.

So I needed to use like 4 or 5. So I did!

2. Use something you have been hoarding for a while... ok so I have been hoarding a few

things on this card. The two crocheted flowers, the bling brad

(you know how I am) and the pom pom trim.

3. Use some of your favorite things... so those of you who know me, know I love

love love my cloud die! I also love Papertrey and this Handwritten stamp

set and I have a secret crush on Dawn McVey... lol!

4. Heat emboss something... hmmm something I don't do often so I did!

The polka dots on the Fizz and Ocean cardstock!

Use It # 2!

Hey everyone, I am actually posting a challenge on time! :) The challenge was to use at least 4 flowers and a tag of some sort!

This is the Use It Challenge # 2, I made this card completely out of scraps, I punched the flowers out of tiny little pieces of paper, why I save all that I have no idea!
