This month was my first month entering into the Guest Star Stamper context over at Papertrey Ink, while I didn't win... I still had so much fun with this stamp set! There were so many fantastic submissions, everyone really did a great job!

As soon as I seen this set online I bought it because I seen ice cream cones, instead of party hats and cupcake tops! So that's what I made!

Hello... really nice!

ScrapFest 2008!!!

Wicked time tonight at scrapfest! Lots of great displays, great new products and awesome make & takes!

This was the free goodie bag! Stamps, adhesive, brads, flowers, die cuts, paper, ribbon, rub ons, stickers, chocolate... you name it and it was in there!

Had a great time doing some of the make and takes... 2 mini books, picture hanger, card, keychain, flower, tag, and the most interesting make and take of all the scrap wheel! It's the round thing... it was super cute and fast to make and brought to you by the ever popular 2 Scrapbook Friends! Nicely done... now where are the buttons!
This is what I bought... such awesome deals and new products... check out the glittered overlays from Fancy Pants (The Scrappin Turtle) and the new core dinator paper from 2Friends! Oh and I bought a bella stamp only it is not a bella it is a little sceen with trees and birds, can't wait to use it... bought at the Paper Pickle. Also from the Pickle, check out that wide ribbon!

LOVE this set... a little intimitating at first cause it is so small but before I took them off the sheet, I rubbed my noir palette ink pad over them and let them dry! Much better and at that point I could see the detail of this alphabet! GORGEOUS and cheap... check it out.... Here!

Clip It Up... Cheap!

I love the Clip It Up system, the round version. I think I work better when I can see everything... so the cheap in me created this version... lol! Total price... under $10! The self was already there, but even still they are like $4 anyways. It was just some eye hooks, a wooden dowel, some S hooks ( an entire bag of like 40 was $1 at Walmart), and small bull dog clips (I already had but are fairly cheap). So next time I sit down to do a layout I remember I have all this stuff! LOL

Finally finished my Easter cards tonight for the kids... I know, cutting it close right! I would rather poke a pen in my eye than cut things out with little finger crippling scissors, yet that is what I did! Hope they appreciate them... :)

DT Dare!

I lurk on this A Scrappin Friendsy all the time and they have this contest going on... it might just be for design team members but as soon as I read it, I knew I need to send in my layout! It is a contest for the most pics on one Layout! I did this layout a little while back but I found when I scrapbook to record an event I tended to use a ton of pics! I do less of that kind of scrapbooking now but i scrapped the crap out of my son's 1st year! :)

I purchased this set when it was first released and never used it! I am not a flower kinda girl but it is a really beautiful set so I got it out and love it! Especially with the new sentiments from the Just Hatched set! LOVE!
