I made this card at our new little club at the Turtle... Stampaholics! We had our first open stamp night on Friday and it was totally fun! I stamped and played with my copics which was awesome. I only made 2 cards but I thought they were awesome so here is one!

I actually made this with Cuttlebug Challenges Be Inspired #28 in mind but then I didn't use a cuttlebug folder or die, although I did use my Cuttlebug! So I can't link it up! :(

Birthday Boy!

Had an order at work for a birthday card for a 10 year old boy and it was tough! I did however reach first for my new QuicKutz cork sheets!

Turtle April DT Altered Item!

This was my Altered item for the Turtle DT this month! I used a empty American Crafts container and decorated it to hold my pins!

Love 5x5!

This was for a 5x5 challenge on the Turtle forum... I received the LOVE die cut and the flourish and then I added some Martha markers to them! I also received the pattern paper, heart eyelets and ribbon! This was a tough one for me! Oh and I wish you could see the glitter on the flourish!

I got to see Sarah Hodgkinson from Jillibean DT, Vicki Boutin (love her) the Canadian Scrapbook magazine team and the Scrapbook and Cards Today team (donated over 30 cards for their charity).

Free... Yes Please!

Although overall the free VIP bag of goodies was much skinner than last year and you can the pics of free stuff from last year... HERE! A few usually suspects for awesome stuff is the Turtle and 2 Friends, they didn't disppoint this year either! One thing I was really impressed with was the "going Green" bags by Craft designs and Scrapalicious. These are fantastic walking bilboards for your store, I know I will be using mine a lot! Thanks!

SCRAPFEST!

Scrapfest Kitchener was this weekend and it did not disappoint! I got some things I was hoping to get and SO much more! :) My mission was some copics for my collection and a score pal! Can you find either of those in the pics below... lol!

This is brilliant... It is my new copic holder! Skribbles and Scraps, it is in Sarnia and the gentleman made it... it was holding the copics they had for sale and Regs (Bff) and I bought them. They had smaller ones but I needed big. It holds like 140 markers and is was $24 bucks! Oh and it is super light so I thin kshipping would be cheap... their email address is scrapbooking@skribblesandscraps.com buzz them and tell them Dee from Dee's Paper Tree sent you! :)

I really controlled myself on the paper and die cuts this year and only purchased what was too stunning to leave behind! If you want to know what anything is just let me know!

I bought a new set of Nesties, a few border embossing folders, a limited cupcake quickutz die and goosebump, those huge gorgeous prima flowers, the tube of prima flowers, beacon glue,clear dew drops, ridiculously gorgeous trim and ribbon, copics, felt flourish, a keeto, a Scrapbook and Cards Today card book, and the gela tins set I have coveted for months!

I so cannot wait to play... next I will post what I received free and a few pics with friends!

Is brought to you by my very own BFF Regs ! And she brought a tough challenge!

1. Go out of your comfort zone... so comfort for me is the less colors the better.

So I needed to use like 4 or 5. So I did!

2. Use something you have been hoarding for a while... ok so I have been hoarding a few

things on this card. The two crocheted flowers, the bling brad

(you know how I am) and the pom pom trim.

3. Use some of your favorite things... so those of you who know me, know I love

love love my cloud die! I also love Papertrey and this Handwritten stamp

set and I have a secret crush on Dawn McVey... lol!

4. Heat emboss something... hmmm something I don't do often so I did!

The polka dots on the Fizz and Ocean cardstock!

Springy Easter Basket!

This is a little basket I made for our product highlight at the Turtle in April! The Bazzill Stitchz on a 3D item was my contribution! So I made this cute little springy basket using one of my new Sassafrass kits! Love it!

Loonie Stamper Challenge # 35!

Well it was my turn this week and I was super excited about my card. I knew exactly what I was going to do when I picked these colors! Unfortunately... the picture below is what happened instead! :(
My basement flooded and behind that huge TV, baby stuff, tables, boxes and junk is my beautiful scrappy space! You can see in the bottom of my picture is where the cut the carpet too and next week I believe they will be packing everything and putting in storage to install new carpet and baseboards!

So now I highly recommend you go visit the Loonie Ladies, even if you all ready did! You want this to the last thing you seen... haha!

Welcome Little One!

Sorry for the lack of posts and challenge participation... lots going on at our house! My little was very sick for almost a week, our basement flooded (aka my scrap space) and now I have the flu! Also, I am trying to finish up a fair size wedding invation order and easter is in a few days! Just crazy busy over here!

So I used Lots of cardstock, the PDQ pattern paper and chipboard accents, fiskars punches along the bottom of each quote sheet, the zutter hole punchy thing (lol), Kaiser Bling and AE Stamps! Also used my Quickutz mini moxie alphabet!
