Great line from Two Scrapbook Friends this month... Echo Park! Gorgeous!

I think this one is my favorite!

I love Jack's chubby hands in this one!

Lovin my Graphically Speaking cartridge!

Jack was such a boy on this trip to the beach but I love the pic Bob took and I wanted to scrap it pretty... so I did! Even thought the layout is called "It was a perfect summer afternoon and you played with a dead crab."

Oh and I whipped up this little card with some left overs on my desk! :)

Can't wait for the next one!

Loonie Stampers Challenge #103!

Little Red Wagon - Christmas in July !

Well I thought we were going to get through July without having to do a Christmas card... lol! Thanks Rosanne! Kidding... now that my scraproom is not busting at the seems I was able to find some end of season MM stuff for Christmas... I got this cheap and it has been in my wagon for many months now!

So super easy to whip together a card with MM pre-cut and scored cards, pins and chipboard pieces... I even used an old piece of scrap ribbon!

Head on over to Little Red Wagon to check out the DT work as well as play along! Nothing will make you appreciate the summer more than thinking about Christmas for a half an hour... lol!

2SF's Friendzy Friday!

So laying in bed reading a book to my Jack, I got so tired I couldn't finish. He said oh no Mommy, if I had a bookmark I would put in to hold the page. I said how about tomorrow we go downstairs and you can use mommy's supplies to make one and he said... How about you just make one for me! lol

So I did...

I grabbed some scrapps and left over stickers fit for a 5 year old!

Cut out a standard bookmark shape, rounded the corners and started adding stickers.

Did a quick little messy stitch around the edge and voila...

He loves it but still wants me to finish the story!
Love him!

Loonie Stampers Challenge #102!

Ok so it is def a simple card this week for this super tough color combo from Maria... no Choclate Brown... I can't function... lol! I also didnt want to do Christmas but that was all I kept seeing...

Don't laugh, this is about at clean and simple as I get! :)

I wonder how many "Dee" cards we are going to see...

More Sewing!

Last weekend Regs, Carolyn and I went to a sewing class at Greenwood Quiltery to make a Tulip Purse! I haven't sewed anything this difficult in 10 years but it was so much fun! The instructer, Wendy (Gertrude... lol) was awesome and made everything look so easy!

Anyways here is the adorable little hand bag I sewed out of Nicey Jane by Heather Bailey.

It has lined pockets and I made those straps and button tab!

And it is reversable...

I learned so much, I picked up some fabric so I could sew a sewing machine cover, a cricut cover, a cuttlebug cover, a husband cover... tee hee!

Today!

So this is what I am up to today...

I am teaching a little copics class at Two Scrapbook Friends with these Bella Stamps and some Pebbles! Love Bella and Pebbles! I think there are 3 seats left so come if you can!

Loonie Stampers Challenge # 101!

Haha, while we were having fun over our Loonie Retrreat weekend, we were discussing the colors we are least comfortable working with... Plum and Leaf came up a few times and Lemon once. So it I thought... let's torture the ladies and make them use them all at once!

Leaf was optional though, I son't want them to hate me... lol!

Here is my card...

Now let's see what the loonies came up with... I am betting there is some cheating this week! lol

I am Havin' a BABY!

So I think by now everyone knows I am having a baby and it is a little girl. Yay!
You might now know I am not a huge fan of Pink or Purple for that matter and it is super hard to find girly stuff that is not mostly one or both of these colors... but I did!

At Quiltery's Nine Patch the owner is an amazing quilter and she made this and I bought it! She is carrying lots of kewl designer fabrics and projects. If you are in the area I highly recomend visiting and if not, keep the link cause she is hoping to have an online store soon!

I also picked up a little stack of the fabric to make a few more things for her nursery! So fun! I will post those as I complete them.

Come back for Loonie tomorrow!

Little Red Wagon - Trees!

Avril challenged us to use trees this week... GLADLY! I love me a cute tree!
I decided to t=ink a stamp I have not yet inked!
This is the single tree truck from the PTI Buttons set!
So fun!

Head over to Little Red Wagon to check out all the creations and play!

Little Red Wagon - Nesties!

It was a challenge from Carolyn to use nesties and so I remembered a little tutorial I was dying to try it! You can check it out over here at the amazing Heidi Van Laar's blog.

Also, I am truly using products out of my wagon. For example... I bought these back in 1972 and never used them... until now!

And so here is my card using my old products and and a new technique!

Now head over to Little Red Wagon and check it all out!!
