New Local (Ontario, Canada) Forum!

Hey All...

So Regs and I have launched a new forum called Get Craftin'! It is not limited to scrapbooking or paper crafts so everyone!

It looks a little boring right now cause I need a banner, etc.

But this is where we will be hosting product shares, swaps, talking about products we love and selling stuff we no longer need. lol

AND... we want you all to come do it too.

- You can start up a product share or host a swap.

- Advertise a charity crop or a crafty yard sale.

- Brag about a great deal.

- Recommend a class you took.

- Sell stuff you don't want anymore.

- Issue a challenge.

We are hoping to get a lot of locals to Ontario to join so spread the word.

We would love to see you there.

Also, I need a blog banner anyone know how to create one? I will give a little goodie bag to the person who can make me one or help me!

On the upside, I went to Crop & Create in Markham on Jan 13th with Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine (which is where I made this card). I submitted this card to one of their challenges and I won! Such great feedback from some amazing ladies who I think are so talented!

Then my girl Karen from The Art House Studio showed me these little hearts...

So cute... and she said she would teach me!

So she is having a class on February 2nd at 6:30 pm.

The class is $15 and you don't need to bring anything! I believe we will be learning the little flower, a heart and a star!

Space is limited and I know 3 seats are already taken... lol!

Happy New Year All!

Hello All and Happy New Year!

We had a fantastic evening last night with some good friends, food, drinks and games! My throat is raw and my stomach is sore from laughing... it is a good kinda pain!

Well last year was pretty crazy for our family... frankly I can't believe it is over actually. It seemed like it would never end. It was definitely a year of anticipation mixed with fear and excitement!

We just had our daughter and she was a challenging newborn. The women that took care of my Jackson for 5 years was moving away. We moved from our house of 10 years (our first home and the home we brought both our children home too) only to a street away but still very emotional!

Jackson started school full time, Abby began her new daycare and I went back to work knowing there would be no more maternity leaves in my future!

Thinking about 2012 as we settle into our new home, I have decided to choose a word for this year... Pause.

I want to remember to pause before each decision and make sure that what I am saying yes too is purposeful... for me, and my family.

Here's to a great year! :)
