2SF's Friendzy Friday!
Welcome... I received a lot feedback on my Zipper Card card... so I thought I would try another!
I decided to try a different type of flower with the zipper. I started by snipping the ends and threading my needle...

Then I began threading...

Until I had the entire zipper threaded...

Then tighten and tie...

It made such a cute little puff of a flower...

Have you tried anything with zippers? We would love to see it!

Little Red Wagon - Embellie What?

Avril challenged us this week to use an embellishment only you needed to either alter it or use it in an unconventional way! Hmmmmmm... I was stumped! Then I remembered I needed a father's day card and I recall seeing some cute ones lately with ties on them. So I set out to make a tie for my card out of ribbon! lol

Posting two days in a row... woo hoo!
It is my turn over on the Two Scrapbook Friends Forum to issue the card challenge! I am love love loving the new October Afternoon lines so my challenge is to use at least 3 different pattern paper on a card... now you know me, I can make 10 card in a row without a stitch of pattern paper so this was tough for me!

2SF's Friendzy Friday!
Hello All,
I am in the throws of redoing my scrappy space. Hubby built all new desks for me and has been installing them so I am a bit behind on my paper crafts! But I welcomed the challenge of sitting down to do Friendzy Friday in the chaos that is my scraproom!
Anywhoodles, i choose to highlight paper piecing. Now I do not call my self an expert in this by any means. I have a gf from Calgary (Wendy) who could paper piece her way into an art gallery but I really do like how it opens ups options with your stamps.... check it out.
I started with a stamp where the detail wasn't too fine or had heavy pattern.

Then I stamped the section of the stamp out of each paper that I thought would coordinate nicely. You can just stamp they entire stamp each time but remember I am lazy! lol

This is the fun part... cut them all out. I use my Tim Holtz scissors obv cause they rock like Phil Collins but I enjoy the finger blades.

Oops forgot to take pics of the assembly, got too excited as it was coming together... and blamo a card!

Thanks for visiting!
