I choose rainbows this week and you could go where you wanted wih it and I dcided to use this amazing ribbon that I have been hoarding for more than 2 years... seriously cleaning out my craft room was like a shopping spree! I found so much stuff!

I had trouble with the back to school task... I did do an awesome "First Day of SK" layout that is waiting for Jack's first day of school pic but it is for mt September DT work so i can't show ya!

So in keeping with the using my supplies theme, I dug out this line and someold thickers that I have been hoarding!

Jack was such a boy on this trip to the beach but I love the pic Bob took and I wanted to scrap it pretty... so I did! Even thought the layout is called "It was a perfect summer afternoon and you played with a dead crab."

Oh and I whipped up this little card with some left overs on my desk! :)

I branched out a little and used some of my Jillibean canvas flowers that I have been hoarding and the new PTI Harvet Gold ribbon and buttons... stunning color!

Little Red Wagon - Christmas in July !

Well I thought we were going to get through July without having to do a Christmas card... lol! Thanks Rosanne! Kidding... now that my scraproom is not busting at the seems I was able to find some end of season MM stuff for Christmas... I got this cheap and it has been in my wagon for many months now!

So super easy to whip together a card with MM pre-cut and scored cards, pins and chipboard pieces... I even used an old piece of scrap ribbon!

2SF's Friendzy Friday!

So laying in bed reading a book to my Jack, I got so tired I couldn't finish. He said oh no Mommy, if I had a bookmark I would put in to hold the page. I said how about tomorrow we go downstairs and you can use mommy's supplies to make one and he said... How about you just make one for me! lol

So I did...

I grabbed some scrapps and left over stickers fit for a 5 year old!



Cut out a standard bookmark shape, rounded the corners and started adding stickers.



Did a quick little messy stitch around the edge and voila...



He loves it but still wants me to finish the story!
Love him!

Ok so it is def a simple card this week for this super tough color combo from Maria... no Choclate Brown... I can't function... lol! I also didnt want to do Christmas but that was all I kept seeing...

Don't laugh, this is about at clean and simple as I get! :)

I wonder how many "Dee" cards we are going to see...

Little Red Wagon - CASE a LRW GF!

Hey Everyone! So Regs challenge was to CASE a girlfriend from our DT so while I did not CASE exactly, I certainly found insiration in Avril's flower card!

And here is my little creation! Sorry for the poor lighting, it was tornado sky this morning! I used some old BG paper and old pearls, and my Cricut... oh and lots of glitter! Easy Peasy!

More Sewing!

Last weekend Regs, Carolyn and I went to a sewing class at Greenwood Quiltery to make a Tulip Purse! I haven't sewed anything this difficult in 10 years but it was so much fun! The instructer, Wendy (Gertrude... lol) was awesome and made everything look so easy!

Anyways here is the adorable little hand bag I sewed out of Nicey Jane by Heather Bailey.

It has lined pockets and I made those straps and button tab!


And it is reversable...



I learned so much, I picked up some fabric so I could sew a sewing machine cover, a cricut cover, a cuttlebug cover, a husband cover... tee hee!

So this is what I am up to today...


I am teaching a little copics class at Two Scrapbook Friends with these Bella Stamps and some Pebbles! Love Bella and Pebbles! I think there are 3 seats left so come if you can!

Haha, while we were having fun over our Loonie Retrreat weekend, we were discussing the colors we are least comfortable working with... Plum and Leaf came up a few times and Lemon once. So it I thought... let's torture the ladies and make them use them all at once!

Leaf was optional though, I son't want them to hate me... lol!
