Cards for Friends!

A good friend at work requested a set of thank you cards... ones that match her!

Hmmm tough one but I think I did it! 

I am really doing good selling my cards!

I have them in a shop in Waterdown and I sell a few here and there at work still!

Yay!

Great Line - Simple Stories!

I couldn't love this line anymore! I can't wait to see their Summer Release...

All I used for this layout was a 6x6 pad of this line and 2 prima wood buttons and a few thckers! So easy!

TSB 1 Hr Crop!

Helen hosted another 1 hr crop over at the Bug forum on Saturday night and it was just as fun as the first!

There was a sketch provided and off we went... here is my layout.

I used a MME 6x6 pad, some stampin up brads and page clip, sprinklers and mr heuy mists, thickers
a maya roads mini ticket, a studio calico wood veneer camera, a metal star from goodness knows where and my handy dandy sewing machine!

Little Red Wagon - Senti Stage! ;)

Jan is asking us to create a card with the sentiment as the main focus!  Love this type of challenge... although I wish I loved my hand writing more! Oh well, I tried my best! :)

I stumbled upon the cutest little teacher thank you evah and I just had to make it.

Inside the scroll is has a little note for jackson's teacher. I also made a little card to match with some Kim Hughes Stamps!

LSC - Oops Nope!

Well today would have been a Loonie Stampers Challenge but we are taking the summer off and will be back the second week in Sept... nuttier than ever!

Here is a quick thank you card... thanks for visitng me!  :)

Super easy... and I use mists from 3 different manufactures... the grey is Mr Huey, the aqua is October Afternoon and the Orange is Maya Roads!  Love them all!

Girly Layouts!

So happy to be able to do girly layouts about my daughter.  I am even more excited about crafting with her... I hope she loves it as much as I do.

Anywhoodles, here is a little girly funny layout.  It is called 3 Generations... she loves her dolls already and she is not even 2.  She feeds them, burps them, walks them in their stroller and puts them in their beds!  It is amazing to watch!

Double Layout!

What? I know right?  I was at a crop a few weeks ago and did this double and 4 or 5 singles!  It was a productive day with some great ladies!

Here is the double I did!  

A little mist, wooden letters, twine... my covetted tim holtz rosette die and these Ali Edwards stamps I borrowed from Regs.  I have to get these.

TSB Online Crop!

Tonight I am taking my hubby out for dinner... today is 20 years since our first date!  :)

Here is my second challenge for the Bug Online Crop... use a card of some sort on your layout... in honor of the dreaded REPORT CARD!

Loonie Stampers Challenge - Washi!

Hey guys... Maria :) challenged us to use washi tape!  Love it!

I actaully used a few fabric tapes to create this background paper!

They are super old from MM!

So I got inspired and ordered a bunch of Japanese Washi tape online... it should be here soon!

Now let's see what the loonies came up with...

Online Crop at the Bug!

Hey all,

I have been hanging out over at the Forum for the Scrapping Bug and they are having an online crop starting tomorrow until the end of June!  It should be great fun!

Also on June 23rd they are hold a 1 hour online crop!  I did one of these a few weeks ago there and I gotta say it was pretty exciting.  And the prize at the end was awesome!

gun! I thought I had a good idea to make some chevron pattern paper out of washi tape but after taping a 6 x 12 piece of paper and then cutting it all up, throwing it out, then picking a few pieces out... I ended up with this layout, which I love!

Come back tomorrow... I am sure I will have sumpin up!  lol

Project Time!

Happy June!

I bought this magazine a few months ago... I am a virgo and I love organizing, labelling and all that goodness!

While I was a little disappointed it didn't have more of the organizing, labelling and scrappy room pics rather than all the card pics nut I did see a cool, easy soup can project. If you seen my kids desk you would know

We started right away collecting cans...

The tough part was the lazy Susan, I couldn't find one anywhere. Then a friend recommended Value Village and bam... a grey marble lazy susan for $6 !

So we sprayed the cans... covered them with fabric and glued them to the lazy susan.

All done...

And look at how clean his desk is now!
