Etsy Inspired!

In my surfing of Etsy I found these cute little paper hearts done as a garland, there were made from a map but I though I will make some for my scrappy room for Valentine's Day!

The garland must have sold cause I can't find it!





I used an old Martha Stewart pattern paper and changed it up a bit!

So easy!

Loonie Stampers Challenge #127!

Charlene is throwing us into spring with this great color combo. Of course you know me and in order to include all 4 bright colors I needed to use them sparingly and with a lot of white! :)



I made these little rosettes with some satin ribbon and glue! :) This is some of my crinkle ribbon in yellow and I used my new music note embossing folder by Crafts Too!

Just Playin...

Since late pregnancy I have really only been completing the challenges where I am on the dt or my actual dt work... all work (well not really work) and no play. But lately Abby has been hitting the hay at 8pm ad I am way ahead on my "scrappy work" so I made this...



I love it, it makes me happy!
Oh and it felt really good to scrap with a challenge or rule or inspiration!

The spools are in my etsy shop on the left hand side. The paper is October Afteroon. American Crafts thickers, Maya Roads Resin Flower, Mini Ticket and Heart Pin. Papertrey Twine and button. Kaiser bling and a little flower crocheted by my girl Jewels ! Oh and I colored that little clothespin with copics :)

Little Red Wagon - Lace!

Rosanne wantes us to play with lace and I say... yes, please!



I used some lace and made a little wall of lace for my card... just one layer didnt stick out enough! I cut a flower fr a vintage book... love (it has been in my wagon since 1911... kidding)! That little bird is from Michael's. Adorable little birds and I got the little green butterflies too! Oh and that is my hand dyed crinkle ribbon.

It has been a while since I have been ale to play in the PTI Blog Hop and this one was perfect for me... do you believe I had not used the Just the Ticket stamp set, or the die, or the pattern paper... I know right! So I got them all out and made a card!

Grab a coffee, this is gonna be long!

Ok so this is how I did the scallop and half circle banners.

Punch out 5 of each, score each one down the center. If pattern is importat to you, pay attention to how you score them.
Lay out your twine / thread / ribbon and put a glue dot on half of each circle. Wrap then aound the twine and pinch together. Continue with the remaining circles.



Cut a piece of pattern paper to 1 1/2" x 5" if you want five little banners. Score length wise (notice I got smart here and scored before I cut) in 1/2" next cut it up into 1" pieces. Then you can use the corner round on the bottom 2 corners... I did one with the standard corner rounder and one with the smaller for a different look. Then you do the smae as the others and add the glue dots and fold over your twine!



Score and fold over a 1" inch section then insert the folded side into the heart punch but not all the way so it is still attached and then add your glue dots and fold each one over your twine!



Cut a 1 1/2" strip and insert length wise into the heart punch but only punch a triangle out of the bottom. Keep moving along and then cut it up on the long points. Score 1/2" in on each piece, fold and glue dot around the twine! Presto!



Easy peasy!

This is a mini chocolate envelope obviously decorated to be hand delivered! :)

Two Scrapbook Friends - Friendzy Friday!

I made some crinkly ribbon! Ok so you can do this with any rayon or silk ribbon. :)

I choose a rayon seam binding... cheap! lol

I watched an Ashley Newell video on youtube! Very resourceful place!

I put down some wax paper...


Started spraying...


Added some dazzling diamonds...


I then scrunched it into a ball on my palm...


Wraped them with elastics to hold...


Let them sit over night...


Then I opened'em up...


Loved it so I made more...
