Wowzers, it has been a carazy week in the life of Dee!
I couldn't find the color map for this so I apologize!
It was my pick this week and I choose Kraft, Evening, Rain, Terra Cotta and a neutral!

I am heading away for the weekend with my girl Regs to a scrapbook retreat!
Ah rest and relazation! lol

Here is my card and I think it is clear, I love my cricut!

Card Trends - Squares!

I made this card a few nights ago for the Card Trends Blog challenge for SQUARES

I have been going retro a lot recently with my paper crimper!

It has become a fast favorite for adding texture!


All supplies are Papertrey Ink with the exception of the Fiskars crimper, Martha Punch and Pen.

Little Red Wagon - HEARTS!

One of my favs HEARTS ! And I picked up my new Cricut Cartridge the other day at 2 friends, who by the way have ridiculously good prices on these! I bought the Stamping Solutions cartridge... you can check it out HERE!
But I recommend you go in and look at the back cause it rocks!




I used the row of hearts in 2 1/4 " for the main image but then in 1/2" for the little border around the tin... seriously cute! All the rest is PTI! :) Except the tin is from Michael's!

Happy Birthday WENDY!

Holy smokes it is Wendy birfday and we LOVE her!
She is totally amazing!

So you guessed it... we are hopping in her honor! let's go!

Just a Card!

I needed a card for work because someone is leaving... I just love this stamp set but don't use it nearly enough~ and how gorgeous is the terra cotta tile! Love it!

All supplies are papertrey Ink except for the ranger glossy accents and liquid pearls and the SU punch! I am loving kraft lately! I made 4 cards last night and 3 were from kraft!

Papertrey Ink - Blog Hop!

Whooooo Hoooooo, Papertrey Ink Blog Hop day and I got my package in tim eto use new stuff!! So excited!

Well if you know me, you know that I rarely complete the inside let alone decorate a coordinating envelope, but here we go!

My card and envelope... I used the solid dot from Polka Dot Basics to do the bee center.

Here is the back... I usually just put the D on the back of my cards but I thought in keeping with the theme, I would include the rattle! :)

Moxie Fab - Trigger Tuesday!

Oh my, this picture is stunning! I love everything about it! Moxie Fab you had me at Trigger! :)

Here is my card and it contains my fav ribbon, kraft cardstock, and some of my hoarded wooden buttons! Seriously I NEED more of these buttons!

Papertrey Day!

So I thought I would show you what it is like when my PTI box gets here... I am sure Nicole thinks I have a store here in Ontario that I order for but really it is just a group of amazing women with great taste!!

So about a week after $1000 hits my credit card the box finally comes! My hubby had to come with me this time to carry the box out. Yikes, not sure I will be able to suck him in again. lol

The box unpacking...


All the stamps together...


All the paper together...


And then the misc ribbon, ink, twine, etc...


I love this new bench in my hall way to sort on... I was using the floor in the basement but too much bending and carrying...


Then (3 hours later) when all is sorted, I send out the email to the vultures, ahem I mean ladies... lol...


I would show you the spreadsheet I used to calculate the totals, shipping, duty, blah but I was afraid to loose readers... hahaha!

Well, after years of forcing myself to add stuff to my cards, Regs challenged us with going naked... on a card! lol

No bling, ribbon, buttons, brads, eyelets... hmmmmmmm!
I did my best!

CPS 150 & New Bella!

So I picked up a few new Stamping Bellas yesterday at Two Scrapbook Friends ... ok so it was like 7 or 8 of them! I am not ashamed... lol!

Anyways, I played a bit last night and made 3 cards and colored 3 images for the class I am doing tonight at 2SF's! Super excited!

Here is my card and I just just love this new stamp! Easy peasy lemon squeazy!

Moxie Fab - Color Play!

A uber tough color challenge from pare Crafts Magazine hosted by Susan R Opal ... at first I thought no way but then I was like... hey if I end up not liking it, I can choose not to post it!

Anywhoodle schpinoodle... here is the card!

It is actually a little 3 3/4" x 4" card, not sure why this size... i think the purple was already cut!

Moxie Fab - Trigger Tuesday!

I'm baaaaaack... with Moxie Fab's Trigger Tuesday ! Oh how I have missed these so I took some time last night to play in some of the Moxie Fab challenges!

This pic is so inspiring and really challenged me to step outside my comfort zone and I am happy I did! :)

These are so much fun, you really should play!

Friendzy Friday!

Ok so for my first friendzy friday I wanted to be a bit ca-razy... so I made some hair bands. Not the ones from the eighties like Bon Jovi or Poison silly, ones for my hair!

I love all the kewl ones out right now but seriously 10 - 20 bucks for a hair band??

So I picked up a pack of six skinny bands from the $ store and pulled out some ribbon I thought was purdy...



Started out slow with a few basic bows...

I flat panel bow that I pop dotted on.


Just a messy polka dot bow!

But then I though I want a valentines one so...

I stuck some puff heart stickers on one.

Then I tried a double flat paneled bow done by just folding the ribbon over onto itself and adhereing down with glue dots.


I also added buttons to one by simply picking the buttons, adding the glue dots to the back and lining them up.

Then I just rolled the band through the glue dots!

I also braved a ribbon bloom, stitching the ribbon on one side and then pulling tight and tie in a little knot!


If necessary I popped a little something on the back to I didn't have a head full of glue...


So here they all are...

Cute huh and easy peasy lemon squeezy!

Oh and this shot is for those that don't think I wear them...


Oh and I paid $2 bucks! :)

Ack, it has been a crazy week and even crazier morning and a crazy weekend ahead but.... time to take a moment for the LSC and some awesome colors from Char!

I am getting a bit more comfortable with my cricut and couldn't be happier!
